MBAA member Mary Wier has organized the following event at the Birmingham Museum of Art for the members of MBAA and other art lovers. The event is free for our members!! Please notice the lecture by curator Graham Boettcher on presenting your work to a gallery. Graham was our judge for the Spring Show. His enthusiam for art is infectious.

The following short lectures are on framing your paintings, gold leaf and restoration of antiques, plus a tour of the museum’s frames. You won’t ever look at a painting again without thinking about the frame as well.
