Calling all Artists!

Shelby County Arts Council
4th Annual Juried Art Exhibit
September 6 – October 18

Open to all artists. You do not need to live in Shelby County Arts Council in Shelby County to enter the competition. Entry deadline : midnight of August 19th, 2012.

WHERE: downtown Columbiana in the Shelby County Arts Council Gallery

ARTWORK MEDIA: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media, printmaking, photography, sculpture. See web site for specifics.

JUROR : University of Alabama in Birmingham Art Professor Gary Chapman.

AWARDS: Best in Show award will win a $500 grand prize and a Solo Exhibit at the SCAC Gallery slated for May 2013. First place winners in each art medium category will win $150 prize.

ENTRY FEE: $75 entry fee, in any medium for a total of four entries.

HOW: This year, digital images may be emailed and payment made online

TIMETABLE:
Entry deadline August 18, midnight
Accepted artwork notification week of August 27
Delivery of accepted artwork: August 27 – September 4. See web site for all specifics.

Opening reception: Thursday, September 6th, 2012, from 6:00 – 7:30pm at the Shelby County Arts Council Gallery in Columbiana
