Morning: Plan For Success & Your Rewards Will Follow
Learn how to translate your photo into “art.” This class will teach you how to ‘see’ and plan for success. Bring your favorite photos and learn how to paint a series of color studies that will help your paintings have depth, simplicity, impressionism, expression, and impact. This class will affect forever how you interpret what you see. Work side by side with a master painter who will show you how simple and fun it can be.
Afternoon: Forever Change How You Think & See
Tom’s NEW favorite session where he impresses upon you; “It is what you think about while you are painting that is the secret to success.” Tom will take you through all the different landscape objects and show you what artistic thought to have and why. When you finish this class the world around you will not be a series of objects, but rather “artistic triggers”. Today you will learn and paint those “triggers”

ANNOUNCING THE 16th ANNUAL WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP AT CAMP MCDOWELL
Oak Mountain Emporium
Oak Mountain Emporium is interested in sharing wall space to artists. A couple of our artists are now paying $65.00 a month for wall space and an opportunity to always have work available to buy. There are three walls available and they particularly want to extend it to Mountain Brook Art Association members.. It would be a great opportunity for someone who has a lot of work and wants it seen and does not want to battle the heat for outdoor shows, etc.
Marshall Nichols is the contact and their phone number is (205) 664-4333.
