At our May meeting, we learned from one of Alabama’s most prestigious artists, Donny Finley, about how to work better and smarter in a struggling economy. As an unassuming fine artist who has sold paintings up to $50,000, he admits the economy changed for artists after 9/11. He has had to find ways to sell his paintings without spending as much on national advertising as he once did.
