A huge thanks to Norton’s Florist who once again will sponsor a competition within our spring show that is open to volunteers (in any capacity) as well as exhibitors. A ribbon & publicity go to the winner as well as a gift certificate from Norton’s. It’s yet another way the club offers to keep every member involved. New members can get their feet wet as a selling artist. The volunteer paintings can stay all day for sale at Hospitality! Exhibitor paintings go back to their booths after judging. (Take a peek at last year’s arrangement to see what’s in store…)
At Thursday’s meeting come early and be prepared with camera and sketch pad for Norton’s beautiful floral arrangement. Paintings can be any size but should be painted in a way that allows them to be dry by show time. We will also take photos to send out, and post here, for those of you who cannot make the day meeting.
THURSDAY MEETING
Officially the meeting starts at noon with a brief business overview….. BUT…..Come a half hour early to photograph, socialize, ask questions about the show and pick up your cards and posters. Even if you are not an exhibitor, please participate in distributing the cards and posters to businesses all around town. For directions, or to add a reminder to your computer or cell phone calendar, click on the link below and then the calendar date.
