Robert Hernandez-Tsimpides

My work lives at the intersection of landscape, architecture, and travel. Through photography, I document the quiet character of the places I move through, capturing light, structure, and atmosphere as markers of identity and memory. My Hotel Collection is a permanent installation of 30 photographs at the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites near Birmingham Railroad Park, on view since 2016. Raised in a Texas border town and now living in Alabama with my husband since 2008, I am drawn to themes of movement, home, and how places hold the stories of those who pass through them.
