MBAA Meeting Reminder – THURSDAY, 9/17, 10 – 12am at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church with Demo Artist Carly Strickland
If anyone can arrive a few minutes early to help with moving chairs and setting up it would be very helpful, as we are responsible for setting up and taking down in this new space.

You won’t want to miss our upcoming demo at our member meeting on Thursday, September 17th, 10-12 at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church! “Carly Strickland is a painter, illustrator, teacher, and collage artist with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. She never quite figured out that “Jack of All Trades, Master of None” is meant to be derogatory and not a challenge, therefore, she has fifteen years of professional experience in graphic design, children’s book illustration, pet portraiture, book/catalog layout and design, and art instruction. She works in oil, acrylic, cut paper collage, and, frankly, anything else she can get her grubby little hands on.”
