Bio
Maureen Egan Springfield is a visual artist based in Springville, Alabama, working primarily in oil and acrylic. From miniatures to murals, her impressionist and contemporary style spans portraiture, the figure, still life, wildlife, and outdoor scenes, often painted en plein air. Over the years, she has completed a wide array of commissioned work including custom portraits, large-scale murals, and museum replica pieces—each offering a unique opportunity to interpret and honor the vision of her clients. Maureen holds a BFA from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia and brings over 30 years of teaching experience to her practice.
