Nancy M. Paden Nancy M. Paden is a celebrated watercolor and acrylic artist, renowned for her uniquely realistic style that beautifully captures the essence of people, nature, and wildlife. A signature member of both the Alabama Watercolor Society and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina, Nancy has established herself as a distinguished figure in the contemporary art world. Her works have been juried into numerous national exhibitions, earning her an impressive array of accolades. Recent honors include the Davidson Patron Award in the 83rd National Exhibition (2024) and the Award of Excellence at the WSA Annual Members’ Showcase (2022 and 2024). Other notable awards include second place at the Watercolor Society of North Carolina (2023), the Georgia Watercolor Society Reciprocal Award in the WSA 82nd National Exhibition, and honorable mention in the 1st Annual Women in Watercolor Online International Exhibition. Over the years, her work has also been recognized with distinctions such as the Julia Pope Memorial Award at the Watercolor Society of Alabama’s National Exhibition (2021) and the Marjorie Creighton Memorial Award (2020).
