Sharron Read Lancaster

I am a self taught artist. I started painting over 30 years ago. I began by painting representational landscapes in acrylics, but overtime I became interested in representational abstracts with a lot of texture. Now I create paintings on wood panels with a special blend of thick textured paint, applied with various tools that result in a sculptural image that makes deep shadows when displayed under overhead lighting.
