Sue Nuby

Sue Nuby’s love for art began with her favorite purple crayon—a passion that remained undeterred even after receiving a bright red “F” for coloring a science worksheet frog purple in elementary school. A self-taught artist and lifelong learner, she considers herself fortunate to have studied under and painted alongside many talented MBAA members, as well as internationally and nationally recognized artists. Sue truly believes that “painting from life” is the greatest teacher. She is also a proud member of the Alabama Plein Air Artists.
