Yoshiki Kubagawa

When I retired as a research associate at UAB in 2012, I immediately pursued my childhood dream; to learn oil painting. I took art classes at Forstall Art Center in Birmingham and have been learning and painting ever since. My subjects are primarily flowers, landscapes and still life. I have been fascinated by the process of painting beautiful colors and shapes that can create a world beyond my expectations.
