East Lake Farmers Market wants more artists!

The East Lake Farmers Market wants to add artists to our weekly Saturday morning farmers market. The East Lake Farmers Market does not impose a fee to show. A nominal fee is charged only if you sell something. The fee is 10% of your day’s receipts NOT to exceed a maximum of $35.

While the East Lake Farmers Market is not as large as other farmers markets around the metro area, it is easy to access from Interstate 59 N at the Oporto Madrid exit and 59 S at 1st Ave N exit. The market is convenient to surface streets also, located at 2nd Ave S and 78th Street at East Lake United Methodist Church in historic South East Lake.

The produce is less expensive than some of our sister markets and is guaranteed local within 50 miles of Birmingham, most having been picked Friday afternoon or Saturday morning before arriving at the market.

The East Lake Farmers Market offers weekly cooking demonstrations, health and wellness events, kids activities, fresh coffee and baked goods, homemade pet treats, fresh locally grown and harvested flowers, live music and of course art…your art.

Set up starts at 7am and the market opens at 8am and runs until noon. Volunteers are available to assist.

Help us increase traffic by inviting your friends, families and clients to the East Lake Farmers Market and become a member of and help us enhance our community.

Early notification (by Tuesdays) of your participation can be advertised on Facebook and in email blasts.

Hope to see you at the Market!
