We are pleased to announce that due to sales from the Holiday Art Show, the Mountain Brook Art Association was able to present the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a check for $5,211.00! Member Anita Bice is pictured below presenting her award-winning painting to Nora Banks of the Make-A-Wish organization of Alabama.
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who spent countless hours making this such a successful show. We particularly appreciate the outstanding vision and promotional efforts of our show chairman, Robine Wright! But we also wanted to give a shout-out to the meticulous coordination of our president, Janet Sanders, to our member Sam Chiarella who opened the show every day, and to Don Estes who helped with set up and take down, as well as to Lucy Mason who handled the bookkeeping tasks after the show.
However, even with these amazing volunteers, the show would not be successful without our many friends and supporters who attend our shows and purchase local art! Thank YOU!
